I visited Hualien’s Amis Tafalong Community and was introduced to wild veggies at their local Guangfu Market, taught how to make red sticky rice chili sauce and wild veggie pancakes, taken to the historic Kitaka’an Ancestor’s House, and then wined and dined with incredible indigenous cuisine while handmaking mochi and dancing the night away. What an incredible day!
